- Net Zero Green Accelerator for Green SME Businesses
One of Marie’s areas of focus is to support the Scottish SME community with their sustainable activity, enabling them to access the tools, expertise and insight to drive forward their net zero, low carbon agenda.
Marie is a driving force on sustainability and currently supports the HALO Net Zero Accelerator, delivered at HALO. The 12-month programme is designed for SMEs to gain knowledge, insight with carbon training to master the fundamentals of Net Zero and how to utilise the CBN Expert Carbon Accountancy Software.
The programme also provides expert advice to create a carbon benchmark, developing a plan to remove carbon. At the end of the accelerator, businesses are provided with an Independent Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting compliant report in line with UK Government regulation and a recognised Certification to highlight completion and participation.
Marie shares his thoughts on the Net Zero activity…
“By collaborating with the communities where we live, work, learn and play – the business world will deliver more for society and achieve our Net-Zero target.”
