As the Commonwealth Games return to Glasgow following the success of 2014, Marie was honoured to attend Team Scotland House as a guest of Scottish Athletics, joining partners and supporters to celebrate the opening of the Games and recognise the people whose dedication continues to drive athletics in Scotland.

Marie said:

“Scottish Athletics is about so much more than medals. It represents years of dedication, opportunity and hard work, from grassroots clubs to the athletes proudly representing Scotland on the international stage. It was inspiring to hear first-hand about the commitment of everyone involved, and Glasgow 2026 is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate not only our athletes, but the coaches, volunteers, partners and communities whose efforts make these moments possible.”
