Marie appeared on STV’s flagship current affairs  programme Scotland Tonight yesterday evening, in a discussion with host Colin Mackay and Roz Foyer of the STUC about the forthcoming Holyrood election.

As a leading representative of the Scottish business community, Marie made the case for easing the tax  burden on wealth creators and on ordinary blue collar workers, who are being squeezed by the ongoing cost of living crisis.

She also called on all parties to use the election campaign to spell out precisely how they plan to address the looming fiscal gap which threatens to leave a multi-billion pound gap in the public finances.
